We believe that each child is a unique individual and that their special abilities, interests, and cultural background should be the basis of our curriculum. We will endeavour to build upon the child’s agency, self-image, independence, belief in oneself & confidence in their wellbeing. We will achieve this by fostering in each child a positive approach to their identity with a sense of responsibility self-discipline and self-esteem.
Our children’s health, safety, security, and wellbeing underpin all learning experiences. We promote exercise, good nutrition, sun safety, sleep, and rest times. Our Educators are trained to identify and respond to any child at risk of abuse or neglect. Our Educators practice effective management of illness and injury.
We believe young children represent the first of the future generations which make it important for us as educators, to help children realise the significance of caring for and protecting their environment. We believe in promoting sustainable practices in children’s everyday lives.
Our learning spaces invite open ended interaction, spontaneity, risk taking, exploration, discovery, and connection with nature.

Partnerships with Families & Communities QA6
Governance & Leadership QA7
We believe that secure, respectful, and reciprocal relationships provide children with a secure base for exploration and learning. Positive relationships help children to learn about their responsibility to others, to appreciate their connectedness and interdependence as learnings. Our educators believe that engaging in intentional teaching recognises that learning occurs in social context and that interactions and conversations are vitally important for children’s learning.
We believe that families are children’s first and most influential teachers. We view ourselves as an extension of family a place where there is love, acceptance, respect and belonging. We aim to foster within each child awareness & acceptance of others so that they attach positive feelings to the diversity of people. We embrace our diverse cultural environment with great respect and dignity.
As educators we are committed to providing effective leadership that promotes a positive organizational culture and builds a professional learning community. We will continue to provide effective governance and leadership, a skilled and engaged workforce, sound administrative and risk management systems, well documented policies and procedures, and a safe and healthy learning environment for children. Our Philosophy is embedded in our practices and guiders all aspects of our operations.
